Correlations is an interactive data portrait that uses AI to find unexpected relationships between personal habits and larger world phenomena. The project compares small datasets from my own life: the people I call, places I’ve lived, hobbies, creative mediums, and things I rewatch, against subjects such as dinosaur lifespans, empires, migration, and space travel.
Built in Google AI Studio with Gemini, the system generates world datasets on demand and looks for mathematically grounded comparisons between the two. Rather than presenting the data as conventional statistics, the interface turns them into strange, personal observations that make everyday time feel connected to much larger scales.
